Urban villas

Located at a high point of Meerssen, with a beautiful view of the Maas and Geuldal, with Maastricht in the distance, lay an abandoned monastery. The municipality organised an architects’ competition for this hilly area.  

At the highest point, far from the existing homes, we have designed three urban villas with three floors and a penthouse. 

On the lower area, 11 free-sector homes were fitted in, that bridge the height differences and blend in well with the surrounding homes.
