Eden Design Hotel, Restaurant Flo

1987, 1991, 1998, 2005 , Maastricht

organically grown from fifteen to a hundred rooms

From 1987 to 2005, we extended the Eden Design Hotel in four phases from fifteen to a hundred rooms. On the Stationsstraat in Maastricht, a number of buildings were threaded together and converted into a hotel. In the garden and side garden, three building volumes were constructed in various periods that correspond to the organic growth of the city.

Together with interior designer Feran Thomassen, we also looked after the interior in the initial period. Now Feran designs completely independently. For example, he recently produced a beautiful, contemporary design for the well-known restaurant Flo in Paris.
