Appartements + commercial space Munsterplein

1989, Roermond

seamlessly integrated in historic surroundings

At the end of the nineteen-eighties, contractor Maessen Bouw bought a former hotel on the corner of the Munsterplein and the Leliestraat in Roermond. On this iconic site, our client wanted a shop with luxury apartments above.

The building fits seamlessly into the context of these historic surroundings and has been inhabited by the same users since 1991. In the municipal brochures, the plan is still used as an example of how to build in the existing
city.
