2006, Echt

sustainable for hundreds of years 

'Plats' means square in the dialect of Limburg. The old, listed municipal hall in Echt had waited for a new use for years. Once designed as a school, municipal hall and residence, we transformed it into a museum, tourist information office and café. 

This project clearly shows that nothing is so susceptible to change as the use of a building and that a user can always be found for a good and significant building. A building can be sustainable for hundreds of years.  uw als duurzaamheid voor honderden jaren.
