a transparent office that provides a place for the innovative workplace

Transforming bank buildings from secure environ- ments to transparent advice centres. A bank often opts for a high-visibility location that is easily accessible to customers in the region. For the Rabo Advice Centre in Deurne, we designed a new building with two work zones that are quite apparent in the section of building masses. There is a core office with an open void in the centre, around which everyone can find a free workplace. And there is also a linear office with a corridor structure with rooms for people who were not yet ready for the new way of working. It has been designed in such a way that it can also be an open-plan office. The heart of the building is the staircase and lifts that link the two volumes together functionally and visually in a beautiful way
